Die Nation: Wochenschrift für Politik, Volkswirtschaft und Literatur was a German periodical that was founded in Berlin at the end of the 19th century and published by the liberal politician Theodor Barth .

It was published there from year 1 (1883/84) to year 24 (1906/07) by Verlag Hermann on commission or by Verlag Georg Reimer . The nation was politically liberal. It included contributions by Theodor Barth, Lujo Brentano , Conrad Haußmann , Helene Lange , Theodor Mommsen , Friedrich Naumann , Hugo Preuss , Alice Salomon , Karl Schrader , Gerhart von Schulze-Gaevernitz and Werner Sombart .
