The young Waldensteiner is an Austrian music duo from Waldenstein ( Lower Austria ). The band consists of the two brothers Georg and Peter Lebinger. Stylistically, the group moves in the area of folk music and hits .

Career and appearances

The two brothers Georg and Peter Lebinger founded the duo in 2015. The two began their musical careers at smaller parties and birthday parties. In the first year they made 15 appearances, in 2016 they already had twice as many appearances. Initially a pure folk band, they later began to incorporate Schlager elements.

The band's first TV appearance took place on June 9, 2015 in the Barbara Karlich Show on ORF2 , followed by appearances at the big Marc Pircher Fest 2015 in the Zillertal , at the Wiener Wiesn Fest 2017 and on the ARD TV show Every Sunday .

In 2016 their first album Locker drauf was released , which they recorded in Johann Weigl-Pollack's recording studio Weigl Records.

The band also took part in the star night from the Wachau in 2017 and was also a guest on various television and radio programs.

The album Wunderbar followed in 2019, this time with Flo Daxner.
