The little cow from Malibu is a music project from Germany that was launched in early 2006 . The student Nadine Zimmermann from Aschaffenburg is behind the idea .

Career

A year and a half after projects such as Schnappi, the little crocodile , and Pinocchio or the French child star Ilona Mitrecey had made simple songs made for children one of the trends in the charts in German-speaking countries, Nadine also jumped on the bandwagon. In the run-up to the 2006 soccer world championship , she released the single Muh Muh Muh , which was marketed as a soccer anthem for children by her record company Universal Music , in early May 2006 . The text and the accompanying animation video very simply mix the motif of the animal farm with the theme of football: the little cow from Malibu lives with her friends, the pig Poldi, the turtle Betty, the calves Ma Bi and Lu, the rabbit Hans, the goat Kalle, the swallow Jürgen, the rooster Evil Brian, the horse Mucki, the donkey Frank and the parrot Mik on a farm on the beach in Malibu . When they want to play soccer together, the cow is missing a second soccer shoe. Only after a long search does she notice that it has long been stuck on her back foot.

Before the project, Nadine was already active as a singer in various bands. She recorded the single Muh Muh Muh together with a children's choir from the Aschaffenburg area. Accompanied by massive advertising expenditure - the cow was available as a screen saver, on t-shirts and mugs, and as a mobile phone video - the single hit the German and Austrian charts.
