The dear relatives was a German comedy series that was made in 1990 in co-production between UFA , WDR and Südwestfunk . Directed by Michael Pflegehar . A prominent guest actor appeared in almost every episode.

action

The Ministerial Officer Dr. One day Friedhelm Postelei received a surprising visit from his sister Luise (Lizzy) Kleemann, whom he had not seen for years. But Lizzy doesn't come alone, she brings her whole family with her and asks her brother to take her and her loved ones in with him for a while. Friedhelm Postelei agrees, still delighted with the visit.

But this Kleemann family soon turns out to be a real nightmare. While the Postelei couple are middle-class and well-adjusted, the Kleemanns present themselves as an anarchist chaos family that seems to have no respect for anything, has no tired mark and in which no one has a regular job. But there is often trouble with the police and the public prosecutor.

All attempts by Posteleis to get rid of their unwanted subtenants fail. Instead, the different couples begin to get used to each other. The wild life of the Kleemanns shocked the Posteleis less and less with increasing duration.
