Diederik Scheltinga (born July 14, 1985 in Huissen ) is a Dutch duathlete and triathlete .

Career

Diederik Scheltinga was active in a running club in his youth. His three younger brothers Evert Scheltinga (* 1987), Cornelis Scheltinga (* 1991) and Bouke Scheltinga (* 1994), all three are also active as triathletes.

In May 2017 he became vice state champion in the triathlon middle distance. At the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam in September 2018, he was the second best Dutchman behind his brother Evert (fourth place) and seventh.

Today Diederik Scheltinga lives in Arnhem and works as a freelance internet specialist.
