The three-storey brick building was built according to plans by the architect Hartmann from the Royal Württemberg Railway Construction Inspectorate in 1902 in Bahnhofstrasse east of Heilbronn Central Station . In 1906, the post office was built between the building and the train station .
The secular building has a stone facade, the station street by a projections was divided. This has twin and triple windows as well as a decoration in the late Gothic style. One side of the building was designed with a stepped gable as the upper end. The building is an example of how the late Gothic style was copied in historicism , as it was presented in castles and fortresses in Germany.
In 2010 the building was completely renovated and then used as an office building with around 970 square meters of floor space.
