Ranks of Air Force Engineer Corps (1935–1945)
In the engineer corps of the Luftwaffe (Lw) , also Fliegeringenieurdienst (FID) , separate rank / rank designations or additions to them were used in the period from 1935 to 1945. The introduction of these new rank designations began in 1935, the first change took place in early 1940. From November 1, 1940, the designations were finally adjusted to the usual rank designations in the air force and army of the Wehrmacht and supplemented by an engineer .

Gun colors
The weapon color of the two general ranks was "white", based on the generality of the Luftwaffe, while the other ranks wore the weapon color "pink" uniformly on the collar tabs and the badges of the special clothing.
