Dieter Mäde

Dieter Mäde (born December 15, 1939 in Müncheberg ; † July 11, 2015 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and from 1990 to 1999 a member of the Thuringian state parliament .

Life and work

Dieter Mäde was married and had two children. After graduating from the August-Hermann-Francke-Oberschule in Halle (Saale) in 1957, he worked briefly in the VEB brewery in Halle. From 1958 to 1963 he studied veterinary medicine at the University of Leipzig . After receiving his doctorate in 1967, he completed postgraduate studies to become a specialist veterinarian, which he finished in 1973. As early as 1967 he was head of the state veterinary practice in Rastenberg . After reunification, he settled in the village as a veterinarian in 1990.

politics

From 1990 to 1999 Dieter Mäde was a member of the Thuringian state parliament . After two years as deputy chairman of the SPD district association Sömmerda , he was elected chairman in 1992. From 1994 he was also a member of the Sömmerda district council . Until his death he was a city councilor in Rastenberg.
