Dieter Müllenborn
Dieter Müllenborn (born September 3, 1948 in Lindlar , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German electrical engineer , managing director and board member of international organizations.
Life
After studying electrical engineering in Cologne and specializing in telecommunications, the textbook Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering was published by Vieweg Verlag in Wiesbaden for the first time in 1975 with his collaboration . In the meantime the 9th improved and expanded edition has been published . In more than 30 years of his professional activity, he has dedicated himself to sales tasks in Ibero America . Since 1992 he has been the managing director of Pepperl + Fuchs in Mexico , a high-tech company that is dedicated to the production of sensor products for factory automation and intrinsic safety in mainly chemical and petrochemical companies. In 2011 he finished his work in Mexico and now lives in Freiburg im Breisgau.
Memberships and honors
- In 1996 he co-founded the Rotarian Club "Las Palmas" in Mexico City.
- From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the board of the German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( CAMEXA ) and from 2002 to 2004 its president.
- From 2004 to 2010 he was chairman of the Patronato de la Industria Alemana para la Cultura en México ( Cultural Foundation of German Industry in Mexico).
- In 2009 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his special services to German-Ibero-American relations .
