Dieter Rückle

Dieter Rückle (born August 16, 1941 in Vienna ) is an Austrian economist and professor emeritus.

Life

Rückle passed his Abitur in 1959 and then studied commercial science at the University of World Trade in Vienna until 1963 . He graduated with a degree in business administration, received his doctorate in 1968 and worked at the Institute for Fiduciary Services at the University of World Trade. In 1971 he became an assistant at the University of Vienna and also held teaching positions. In 1987 he completed his habilitation in business administration at the University of Vienna. In 1979 he took over the representation of a full professor at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , from 1980 to 1985 he was full professor at the University of Münster. In 1985 he was appointed full professor for business administration at the University of Vienna; In 1990 he was appointed to a C4 professorship for business administration with a focus on auditing and accounting at the University of Trier , which he held until 2006.

Among other things, his work on checking forecasts and accounting for the insurance industry was commendable. He has written several reports on behalf of the Federal Constitutional Court . Dieter Rückle was in 2005 for his research achievements in the development of external accounting and audit with the Dr. Awarded the Kausch Prize . In 2008 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Johannes Kepler University in Linz .
