Dieter Schindler

Dieter Schindler (* March 7, 1941 ; † September 10, 2019 ) was a German table tennis player . He was a five-time GDR champion in the 1960s.

Schindler played for the club SC Lokomotive Leipzig , which was transferred to SC Leipzig in 1963 . With his men's team he was GDR team champion in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1966. In 1964, he and Wolfgang Schmidt were GDR champions in doubles.

In 1965, Schindler took fourth place in the GDR rankings.

Most recently he played at VfB Ottersleben.
