Dieter Schwabe
Dieter Schwabe (born September 12, 1956 ) is a former German soccer player .
The defender was part of the professional squad of 1. FC Köln in the 1975/1976 season . The then coach of the Cologne-based Georg Stollenwerk only used him in one DFB-Pokal game. On April 3, 1976 he was substituted in for Herbert Hein in the DFB Cup quarter-finals against FC Bayern Munich in the 32nd minute . Cologne lost the game 2: 5. At the end of the season he left FC and joined the Bonner SC , which was playing in the 2nd Bundesliga at the time. A year later he went to Bayer 05 Uerdingen , with whom he played in the 2nd division until 1979.
