Herbert Hein
Herbert Hein (born March 27, 1954 in Wüstenbrand ) is a former German soccer player .
The defender played in the 1st Bundesliga for thirteen years . His most successful time was with 1. FC Köln , with whom he became German A-Juniors Champion in 1971 . In his professional years he worked with great coaches like Hennes Weisweiler and Zlatko Čajkovski . Despite consistently solid performances, it was never enough for the senior national team.
