Dieter Seifried

Dieter Seifried (* 1948 ) is a German transport and energy consultant and non-fiction author . He is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland , a lecturer in the forest science department at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and a freelance researcher at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy .

Life

Seifried studied energy engineering and power plant technology at the University of Stuttgart and at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , as well as economics at the University of Freiburg.

From 1983 to 1999 he was an employee, coordinator and project manager at the Freiburg Eco-Institute , and in 1999 he founded the Ö-Quadrat consultancy in Freiburg. He is the managing director of ECO-Watt GmbH , a company for energy-saving technologies founded in 1998 , and a member of the board of directors of the Swiss green electricity provider ADEV Windkraft AG .
