Dieter Ungewitter (born January 3, 1951 in Heilbronn ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Ungewitter played in the youth of VfR Heilbronn and the amateur team of VfB Stuttgart , with whom he was in the 1971 final of the German Amateur Championship . Ungewitter moved from the amateurs of VfB to Eintracht Frankfurt in 1971 . For Eintracht he completed seven games in the Bundesliga under coach Erich Ribbeck . He made his debut on the 1st match day of the 1971/72 season in the 5-1 defeat against Hamburger SV . After the season he moved to the regional league for SV Darmstadt 98 . In the southern season he won the championship title with his team. In the subsequent promotion round he came to two missions. Darmstadt failed because of Rot-Weiss Essen and stayed in the regional league. In the following year, it was the last of the second-rate regional league, qualification for the 2nd Bundesliga was achieved. Ungewitter left Darmstadt and played for FC 08 Villingen and VfR Mannheim .
