Dietingen is a district of Blaustein in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The village of Dietingen is about three kilometers southwest of Blaustein.

history

Dietingen is first handed down in 1236. The church set and Fronhof belonged to the Arnegg lordship and came with this to Württemberg in the 14th century , to the Lords of Stadion in 1470 and to the Altshausen Order of the Teutonic Order in 1700 . The stadiums, which owned only a small part of Markbronn and more than half of Dietingen, did not introduce the Reformation . In the 19th century, Dietingen, located in the district of Markbronn, belonged to the Kingdom of Württemberg and was subordinate to the Blaubeuren Oberamt .

  • Catholic parish church of St. Martin with late Gothic choir vault and tower substructure, tower raised in 1504.
