Dietmar Bittrich ( pseudonym, among others: Jost Nickel , according to his own statements; born March 11, 1958 in Trieste ) is a German writer .

Life

Dietmar Bittrich was born in Trieste as an emigrant from Hamburg. He passed the Abitur at the Hamburg Christianeum . He is the author of narrative works , satires , plays and radio plays and took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt in 1988.

Bittrich lives in Hamburg.

Awards

In 1991 Bittrich received a literary award from the city of Hamburg , and in 1999 the Hamburg Satire Prize .
