Dietmar Burdinski

Dietmar Burdinski (born May 4, 1959 in Cologne ; † July 21, 2010 in Berlin ) was a German author and comedian .

life and work

Burdinski worked briefly as a computer seller after completing secondary school, training the police, graduating from high school and studying business administration. In 1990 he began writing comedy programs and in 1992 was one of the first solo artists in the Hamburg Quatsch Comedy Club . In 1999 his only book The Letterman was published by Ullstein-Verlag. He worked on the Dittsche production team , wrote for Rainald Grebe , Olaf Schubert , Rolf Miller and many others.

In 2012 the book Dietmar (Verlag Voland & Quist ) was published in memory of Burdinski with contributions by Olli Dittrich , Thomas Hermanns , Bastian Pastewka , Jess Jochimsen , Michael Mittermeier and others. The beer at Dittsche is called Burdinski Bräu .
