Dietmar Daichendt

Dietmar Jürgen Daichendt (born July 27, 1967 in Sibiu , Romania ) is a German doctor and general practitioner . He is professor at the private university for health and sport in Berlin and the Steinbeis university in Berlin . His focus is on the integration of complementary medical and naturopathic procedures in pain and general medicine, and especially in manual medicine.

Life

From 1988 to 1994 Daichendt studied dentistry and then from 1994 to 1999 human medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU). He then did his doctorate at the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB). As an assistant doctor he worked in orthopedics , neurology , internal medicine and general medicine . In 2002 he founded a practice in Munich and in 2006 a second practice in Austria. In 2009 Daichendt opened a practice clinic in Munich.

Since 2004 he has been teaching general medicine at the LMU. In addition, Daichendt has been a full-time lecturer for complementary medicine at the Berlin University of Health and Sports , a private university of applied sciences, since 2010 . In 2011 he was appointed to the first German professorship for manual medicine , osteopathy and chiropractic therapy. In 2015 he was appointed to the first German professorship for osteopathic and manual medicine at the Steinbeis University in Berlin . Dietmar Daichendt has been President of the German Society for Chirotherapy and Osteopathy (DGCO) since 2005 (until 2006 the German Society for Chirotherapy (DGCh) ).
