Dietmar Feucht (born December 28, 1967 ) is a former German football player .
Athletic career
Feucht played in his youth with the former second division club BSV Schwenningen and later with FV St. Georgen . In 1989 he dared the leap from the amateur club to the 2nd Bundesliga and joined SV Darmstadt 98 . In the first half of the second division season 1989/90 he was a regular on matchdays under coach Dieter Renner in the team squad, where he switched between starting line-up and bench. After the former first division team, who was in the relegation battle, changed coach to Uwe Ebert at the end of March , he was no longer used. He then left the club after only one season after 14 second division games.
Feucht moved to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg , where he joined the SC Pfullendorf . After two seasons he moved on within the league to 1. FC Pforzheim , where he was the most dangerous attacker in the 1992/93 season with twelve goals this season and placed in the top 10 of the championship goalscorer list. By the winter break in the following season he scored ten goals in 18 games, after which he moved to ambitious local rivals VfR Pforzheim . There he scored five goals in seven games by the end of the season, due to the introduction of the Regionalliga as the new third highest division and the consideration of the results of the last three seasons, the club, which had been promoted only two years earlier, missed qualification in the summer of 1994. In the Oberliga season 1994/95 Feucht was top scorer with 13 goals, but as second in the table, the team missed direct promotion and took part in the relegation round to the Regionalliga Süd . After a clear 4-0 win over SpVgg Bayreuth in the first-round game, the Badeners met the amateur team of Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt , in Sandhausen's Hardtwald Stadium , the later Eintracht professional Matthias Hagner was match winner with three goals and led the Hessians with one 3-1 success in the regional league.
After missing the regional league participation, VfR Pforzheim, plagued by financial problems, withdrew its competition team from the league. Feucht then moved together with his teammate Klaus Mirwald to the Regionalliga-promoted SV Sandhausen , behind whom they had become runner-up with the Pforzheimers. Here he was by far the most dangerous player with 13 goals this season in the team coached by Hans-Jürgen Boysen , but overall the league proved to be too strong and as the third from bottom of the final table of the Regionalliga-Süd season 1995/96 the club was relegated directly . The team caused a sensation at the start of the season when VfB Stuttgart was defeated on penalties in the first round of the DFB Cup in 1995/96 . Feucht converted the 13th penalty for his club here, before Hendrik Herzog missed crucially after twelve converted VfB penalties. In the 1: 2 home defeat against the second division club FC Homburg in the second round, Feucht scored the consolation goal for the North Baden team. He then moved to SGK Heidelberg in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, with which he was relegated from the fourth division at the end of the 1996/97 season.
