Dietmar Panske (* 6. February 1967 in Greven ) is a German politician of the CDU and since 2017 deputy in the parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After graduating from a university of applied sciences in 1985, Panske trained as an administrative clerk. He practiced the profession he had learned until 1989 when he signed up as a temporary soldier in the German Armed Forces . From 1997 to 1999 he attended the Army Technical College for Economics in Darmstadt with a degree as a state-certified business economist. Officer training followed from 1999 to 2000 . He then worked in various areas of responsibility in recruiting and selecting personnel for the armed forces and the civil armed forces administration until 2015, most recently as the regional head of recruiting for North Rhine-Westphalia . From 2015 to 2017 he was Head of Inspection at the Federal Language Office in Münster .

Panske has been a member of the CDU since 2008. From 2011 to 2019 he was chairman of the CDU community association Ascheberg - Herbern - Davensberg. Since 2015 Panske has been deputy chairman of the CDU district association Coesfeld. He is also a member of the Communal Political Association (KPV) in the Coesfeld district. He has been a member of the council of the municipality of Ascheberg since 2009, and has been the deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group since 2015.

In the state elections in May 2017 , he was elected to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia as a direct candidate for the CDU via constituency 80 (Coesfeld II) . He won the direct mandate with 49.6% of the first votes . In the state parliament he is a member of the interior committee as well as spokesman and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the parliamentary investigation committee IV ("child abuse"). He is also a deputy member of the Legal Affairs and Petitions Committee and a deputy member of the "Brexit: Effects in North Rhine-Westphalia" study commission. In addition, Panske is the Federal Armed Forces commissioner for the CDU parliamentary group.

Dietmar Panske is married and has two children.
