Dietrich Höffler

Dietrich Höffler (born October 8, 1934 in Tilsit ; † February 9, 2020 ) was a German physician and professor .

Life

Dietrich Höffler was a renowned specialist in kidney and hypertension diseases. In 1965, Höffler set up a kidney center in Berlin . Then he built another kidney center in Mainz . From 1973 to 2000, Höffler was director of the Medical Clinic III at the Darmstadt Clinic . Höffler died on February 9, 2020 at the age of 85. Dietrich Höffler was buried on February 17, 2020 in the Braunshardt cemetery.

Höffler was a passionate mountaineer and hiker. He was married and lived in Braunshardt.
