Dietrich Lückoff

Dietrich Lückoff (born January 3, 1957 in Dillenburg ; † May 11, 2014 in Berlin ) was a German writer , translator, poet and poet.

Life

Dietrich Lückoff grew up in the Hessian villages of Neunkirchen and Wissenbach and attended elementary school in Wissenbach, later the humanistic branch of the Wilhelm-von-Oranien-Gymnasium in Dillenburg. From 1975 to 1977 Lückoff studied Romance Studies at the Philipps University in Marburg / Lahn and after his conscientious objection he did alternative service in Berlin and Paris as part of the Action Reconciliation for Peace Services. In 1979 he resumed his studies in Romance languages ​​and literature at the Free University of Berlin. After a year of study in Florence, Lückoff completed his studies with a master's degree in French, Italian and general and comparative literature. From 1985 to 1992 he worked as a research assistant at the FU and received his doctorate in 1993 on Valery Larbaud . Dietrich Lückoff was a freelancer for the SFB ( Sender Free Berlin ) and the TIP / Berliner Stadtmagazin and worked as a freelance author, poet, illustrator, translator and literary researcher. Lückoff's numerous publications include reviews and essays in radio, magazines and books. After many years in Brussels and Rome, he lived as a literary scholar and author in Berlin and La Spezia / Italy. Most recently he published a dossier on the writer Vizconde de Lascano Tegui . A work on the unique adhesive letters from Freiherr Karl Hartwig Gregor von Meusebach is in preparation and will appear posthumously. Dietrich Lückoff died unexpectedly on May 11, 2014 in Berlin.
