Dietrich Pirson

Dietrich Pirson (born March 11, 1929 in Erlangen ) is a German canon lawyer and professor emeritus.

Life

Pirson studied Protestant theology and law at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen . In 1951 he was reciprocated in the Corps Rhenania Erlangen . He was promoted to Dr. theol. and in 1960 Dr. iur. PhD . In 1963 he completed his habilitation. As a private lecturer , he followed the call of the Philipps University of Marburg . In 1968/69 he was her last rector . In the course of the 1968 movement , it was followed by a directory . As a professor he moved to the University of Cologne and finally to the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , where he represented politics and public law . Ordination and visitation are the basic functions of church leadership for him.
