Dietrich Weisel

Dietrich Weisel (born October 23, 1958 in Oschersleben ) is a German agricultural engineer. From 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Weisel, the son of an electrician, attended high school with a high school diploma. He joined the FDJ in 1972 and did military service in the NVA from 1974 to 1979 . He studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1979 to 1984 as a graduate agricultural engineer.

In 1981 he became a member of the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DBD). From 1984 he was brigade leader in the LPG (animal production) Pessin . At the same time he became chairman of the local group Pessin of the DBD.

From 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the DBD parliamentary group of the People's Chamber and was a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
