Dietrich von Kothe († 1365 ) was Bishop of Brandenburg from 1347 to 1365 . Before that he was Canon of Brandenburg. He belonged to the Premonstratensian Order .

Life

Before his election as Bishop of Brandenburg, Dietrich von Kothe was canon in Brandenburg and pastor of St. Godehard in Brandenburg. The exact beginning of his pontificate cannot be precisely determined. The election and the consecration must have been before October 6, 1349. He took part in the synod on May 30, 1363 in Ziesar . In the same year he also took part in the consecration of Magdeburg Cathedral . He died between January 11, 1365 and the beginning of August 1365.
