Dilhan Nathanael Durant (born March 22, 1996 ) is a German basketball player. He has been playing for ETB Essen since 2017 .
career
Durant went through the youth department of the BBC Bayreuth and made the jump into the extended squad of the Bundesliga club Medi bayreuth in the 2014/15 season . He made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga on December 18, 2014 against Tübingen, but played primarily in Bayreuth's regional league men's team and in the U19 team in the NBBL .
He left Bayreuth in the summer of 2015 and signed with the Oettinger Rockets . In the 2016/17 season he was runner-up with the Thuringians in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA , which meant promotion to the Bundesliga. Durant made 24 appearances for Gotha in the runner-up season (1.1 points on average) and moved to ETB Essen in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in summer 2017 .
