Dirk Anders (born September 26, 1966 in East Berlin ) is a former German football player and coach .
Athletic career
Dirk Anders comes from the youth department of the BFC Dynamo . At the end of the 1980s he made the leap into the club's league team and won the GDR championship with the Berliners in 1987 and 1988.
In January 1991 Anders moved to 1. FC Lok Leipzig with whom he was promoted to the 2. Bundesliga and then was renamed VfB Leipzig . After two years of membership in the league, he made promotion to the Bundesliga with the Saxons in 1993 , which the club had to leave after only one season. With the Probstheidaern he is still listed as a Bundesliga scorer due to the unique first division adventure.
Anders went from the trade fair city to 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the next year and a half . In January 1996, the offensive midfielder moved back to the second division for MSV Duisburg , with whom he was also promoted to the Bundesliga. Anders could not establish himself as a regular player with the zebras , which is why he switched to SpVgg Greuther Fürth for a year and a half in 1997 .
In January 2001, Anders joined the second division Chemnitzer FC via the short intermediate stops Vorwärts Steyr and VfR Mannheim , with whom he had to relegate to the regional league after a catastrophic season . The last station of his active career from 2001 was Wormatia Worms . Dirk Anders played 60 Bundesliga games (9 goals) and 126 second division games (20 goals).
Coaching career
From 2002 to 2004, Anders acted as a player-coach at Wormatia. For the 2004 season he moved to TSG Weinheim as a player- coach in the Nordbaden Association League, where he separated from the club by mutual agreement in May 2007 after differences with the team.
Further career
Dirk Anders has been working as a full-time scout for the German record champions FC Bayern Munich since the 2010/11 season .
