Dirk Konerding (born February 27, 1969 in Hilter am Teutoburg Forest ) is a former German football player.

Konerding started playing football in the youth of TuS Borgloh . He later played in the offspring of Viktoria 08 Georgsmarienhütte before joining the VfL Osnabrück A-youth team in 1985 . In 1986 he moved to Arminia Bielefeld . In his first year at the DSC, the defender was moved from the youth team to the men's team by coach Horst Franz . After he made 13 appearances in his first year in the 2nd Bundesliga , another 17 (one goal) and relegation to the amateur league followed in the following year. In 1993 he went to FC Gütersloh . He played for FCG for twelve years, during which he also played 39 second division games. In 2005, Konerding went to Hammer SpVg for two years , before joining the district division SG Bustedt again in 2007.

The defender played 69 games in the second division (3 goals) in his career.

Via the district and Lower Saxony selection , Konerding made it into the German U16 national team . In 1985 he was runner-up with her at the World Cup in China . In the semi-finals Konerding scored a goal against the team from Brazil.
