Dirk Maus

Dirk Maus (born September 19, 1969 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German chef.

Career

After completing his training, Maus moved to the Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden (one Michelin star ) and to the Hotel Bachmeier am See in Rottach-Egern in 1988 . This was followed by the Hotel Königshof in Munich (one Michelin star) and the Funk restaurant in Nuremberg (one Michelin star). Then he went to the hotel management school in Heidelberg and became master chef . At the Hilton Mainz he was kitchen director for 11 years . In September 2009 he set up his own restaurant Maus in Mollers in Mainz, which was awarded a Michelin star. From February 2010 to February 2013 he was tenant of the Domherrenhof restaurant in Essenheim near Mainz (one Michelin star).

Since 2006 he has been the owner of the mill on the Sandhof from 1754 in Heidesheim am Rhein , which he opened in March 2013 as the Sandhof gourmet restaurant Dirk Maus (one Michelin star).
