Dirk Prediger (born January 23, 1987 in Heilbronn ) is a German football player .
Career
In his youth, Preacher played for Union Böckingen and VfB Stuttgart . On June 25, 2005, he was with VfB Stuttgart German A-Junior Champion with a 1-0 final victory against VfL Bochum. In the summer of 2006, the striker moved to the second team at FC St. Pauli . Here he was also used four times in the first team. In the winter break of the 2007/08 season he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers , with whom he qualified for the 3rd division . Dirk Prediger made his professional debut on July 26, 2008, in the 2-0 defeat of the Kickers against Wacker Burghausen , when he was substituted on in the 65th minute. However, he rose this season as bottom of the table with the Kickers.
After two seasons in the Regionalliga Süd , the striker moved to the association league for TSV Grunbach at the beginning of the 2011/12 season , with whom he was promoted to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the first year . Preacher had contributed eleven goals. In the 2013/14 season he was runner-up with Grunbach in the league, but the club waived the promotion relegation for financial reasons and instead even withdrew to the district league. Dirk Prediger then moved, like many other TSV Grunbach players, to the neighboring association league club 1. CfR Pforzheim in the Association League North Baden . With the Pforzheimers he was able to celebrate second place in the first year and thus promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. Prediger contributed 8 goals this season. This league was held until Preriger's move to SSV Reutlingen 05 after the 2016/17 season. In the stadium at the Kreuzeiche a mediocre 12th place was achieved in the following season, Dirk Prediger participated here with 3 goals in 25 games.
For the 2018/19 season, Prediger switched to the relegated state league and future district league club GSV Maichingen . As a playing co-trainer, he is supposed to help the Maichingern to get back on track immediately.
