Divič is a village in the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina . It is located on a peninsula on Lake Zvornik , a reservoir of the Drina , which forms the border between Bosnia and Serbia here. The city center of Zvornik is about three kilometers north.
Demographics
Before the civil war, around 1400 people lived here, who almost exclusively referred to themselves as Muslims . These were expelled during the war. Most of the 109 people were murdered in Serbian camps (including Celopek). In 2006 the first returnees lived in their homes. Most of the former population now lives abroad.
