The Djupranen ( Norwegian for long back ) is a press ice back on the Princess Astrid coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises up between the Vigridisen and the Nivlisen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it descriptively in 1970.
