Dmitri Grigoryevich Levitsky

Dmitri Grigoryevich Levitski ( Ukrainian Дмитро́ Григо́рович Леви́цький ; * May 1735 in Kiev ; † April 17, 1822 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Russian painter of Ukrainian origin.

In particular, he painted portraits . With a portrait of Alexander Kokorinow he achieved the breakthrough in his career. Stepan Shchukin was one of his students .
