Dmitri Nikolajewitsch Sadovnikov ( Russian Дмитрий Николаевич Садовников , transliteration Dmitrij Nikolaevič Sadovnikov; * April 25th July / May 7th 1847 greg. In Zimbirsk ; † December 19 jul. / December 31, 1883 was a Russian greg. In Saint Petersburg. ) Poet and ethnographer. In 1884 a collection of fairy tales came out posthumously from the Samara Governorate . He is the author of the song "From behind the island to the river" (Из-за острова на стрежень).
