Dmitri Nikolajewitsch Sadovnikov ( Russian Дмитрий Николаевич Садовников , transliteration Dmitrij Nikolaevič Sadovnikov; * April 25th ^July / May 7th 1847 ^greg. In Zimbirsk ; † December 19 ^jul. / December 31, 1883 was a Russian ^greg. In Saint Petersburg. ) Poet and ethnographer. In 1884 a collection of fairy tales came out posthumously from the Samara Governorate . He is the author of the song "From behind the island to the river" (Из-за острова на стрежень).
