Dmitri Vladimirovich Altarjow ( Russian Дмитрий Владимирович Алтарёв * 13. August 1980 in Penza , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a retired Russian ice hockey player who most recently with Rubin Tyumen in the Supreme Hockey League was under contract.

Career

Dmitri Altarjow began his career as a hockey player with Disel Penza , for whose professional team he was active from 1998 to 2000 in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2000 in the ninth round as a total of 264 players by the New York Islanders , for which he never played. Instead, the attacker also played for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Superliga for two years before returning to Disel Penza for another four seasons. For the 2006/07 season, the left shooter signed again with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, who had meanwhile been relegated to the Wysschaya League. With 36 scorer points in 43 games, he was instrumental in the second division championship and promotion to the super league in 2007. In this he came in the following season, however, only to five missions in which he scored a goal and gave a template.

In the summer of 2008 Altarev signed with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk from the Wysschaja Liga, with whom he was second division champion in the following two years and rose to the Continental Hockey League in 2010. After a year in which he completed 58 KHL games, Altarjow was signed by HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in May 2011 . At Metallurg, however, he could not finally prevail and returned to HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk after an assist in 14 games in December 2011.

From June 2013 to May 2015 he was under contract with Rubin Tyumen .
