Dmitri Zakharine

Dmitri Zakharine (born June 14, 1967 in Moscow ) is a German social and media scientist and Slavist .

Life

Zakharine attended the N3 high school in Moscow . He received his doctorate in 1995 from Lomonossow University in Moscow and completed his habilitation in 2005 at the University of Konstanz . He has the instructor for Cultural Sociology and Modern History . From 1999 to 2000 and 2006 to 2007 he was visiting professor at Charles University in Prague. Zakharine has been a private lecturer at the University of Konstanz since 2000 . His main areas of work are cultural and social anthropology, non-verbal communication, the history of direct communication, the history of the soundscape and early sound film.
