Dmytro Oleksandrowytsch Dubilet ( Ukrainian Дмитро Олександрович Дубілет ; born October 8, 1985 in Dnipropetrovsk , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian businessman and politician. He has been Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine since August 29, 2019 .

Life

Dmytro Dubilet was born to Oleksandr Dubilet ( Олександр Валерійович Дубілет ; born October 25, 1962) in Dnipropetrovsk, where he went to school until 2002. In 2000 he attended the Roycemore School in Evanston , Illinois and two years after graduating from high school, in 2004 he studied marketing for four months at the University of Merseburg . He gained his first entrepreneurial experience during his school days when he and a friend created a Ukrainian-language information website, which a few years later sold for more than 100,000 US dollars. He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev in 2006 with a bachelor's degree and in 2011 he graduated from the London Business School .

In 2005 Dubilet founded the company Fine Web in Kiev and was its director until 2010. He then worked as a project manager at Infosys in July and August 2010 and project manager at MasterCard in Warsaw from September to November 2010 , before moving to PrivatBank in Dnepropetrovsk as IT director at the end of 2010 , where his father was CEO between 1997 and 2016 and the oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyj was the main shareholder. Since 2015 he has been developing the iGov portal to fight corruption and increase efficiency in the public service. After the private bank was nationalized in 2016 and the entire management was dismissed, Dubilet, together with his father and other business people, founded the FinTech Band , a project that provides IT services for Ukrainian banks. In 2017 he founded the monobank , which is the first credit institution in Ukraine to offer all services via mobile applications and therefore does not have branches. The bank had a total of 826,000 customers in March 2019.

On July 16, 2019, Dmytro Dubilet became advisor to the head of the Ukrainian domestic intelligence service SBU Ivan Bakanov and at the first session of the Verkhovna Rada in its new legislative term, he was appointed Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Honcharuk cabinet on August 29, 2019 .

Dubilet speaks Ukrainian, German, English, Russian and Polish.
