The Dobsonville Stadium , also known as Volkswagen Dobsonville Stadium or Dobsie Stadium is a multifunctional stadium in Dobsonville , Soweto , City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality , Gauteng , South Africa . It is mostly used for soccer games, but is also equipped with a tartan track. It is the home of the Moroka Swallows , a football club that played in the Premier Soccer League until relegated in the 2014-15 season . The stadium was also approved as a training ground for the 2010 Soccer World Cup after it was renovated in 2009 to meet FIFA standards.
