Doc Silver is a Franco-Belgian comic drawn in a realistic style by Liliane and Fred Funcken .

The western series with the doctor Gary Silver as the title hero first appeared in 1967 in the Belgian and French editions of Tintin and in the Dutch version Kuifje . A total of five sequel stories were created, which were published between the Western Lieutenant Burton and Comanche . Yves Duval also wrote a pocket-sized short story for Tintin Sélection .

Lombard published the albums in the Jeune Europe series .
