The Doescher nunatak is an isolated nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 22 km north of Mount Weihaupt in the group of the Outback Nunatakker .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Roger L. Doescher, glaciologist at McMurdo Station between 1967 and 1968.
