Dogo Mayaki

Assoumana Oumarou Mayaki Dogo (* 1953 in Tounfalis , Filingué ) is a Dutch - Nigerien writers .

Life

Dogo Mayaki attended primary schools in Dogondoutchi and Filingué, then from 1966 to 1973 the Lycée National in Niamey . He studied tourism science as well as English and Spanish at the University of Lyon II , as well as pedagogy at the Educatieve Faculteit Amsterdam of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam and the Hogeschool Inholland .

Mayaki, who is a national of both the Netherlands and Niger, worked as the headmaster of the Lycée Bosso in Niamey. He published satirical and socially critical novels and poetry collections in French . He also served as president of the Nigerien writers' association Association des Ecrivains Nigériens .
