Dolmen de la Sulette

The Dolmen de la Sulette (also known as the Dolmen of Les Tressoisieres ) is located northeast of Saint-Hilaire-la-Forêt near Les Sables-d'Olonne in the Vendée department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The restored dolmen of the Angevin type is located in a round hill and has an almost square chamber of around 2.0 × 2.0 m, consisting of four bearing stones, supplemented by dry masonry and a capstone protruding on all sides. The aisle starting from the pre-built portal, which is decisive for the type, has a width of 1.8 and a height of 1.3 m. The bottom consists of a smooth plate.
