The Dolmen of Champ-Vermeil (also Champvermeil) is located east of the municipality of Bidon , in the Ardeche department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ). It is one of the "Dolmens de l'Ardèche", which with 800 dolmens form the second largest megalithic area behind Brittany .

The Champ-Vermeil dolmen is around 2.0 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.2 meters high, making it one of the largest in the Ardèche department.

The dolmen has been classified as a monument historique since 1910 .

The Menhir du Champ-Vermeil is around 150 m away .
