The simple dolmen of Clamarquier ( French dolmen simple ) is located on the Chemin des Combes in Le Rouret between Nice and Cannes in the Alpes-Maritimes department in France . It is a prehistoric monument from the Chalcolithic period (2500 BC). In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The small rectangular chamber (1.9 × 1.7 m) consists of five supporting stones, which are connected to the two front panels and the end panel laterally through dry masonry . The corridor about one meter wide and over six meters long is oriented to the southwest. The passage and chamber are off-center in a round hill ten meters in diameter.

The dolmen discovered in 1930 was excavated. The only inventory found consists of a few arrowheads with double-sided retouching. A second evaluation was carried out in 2008. In 1986 a fragment of a sharpened ax was found on the surface about 50 meters from the dolmen .
