Kerivoret dolmen
The Dolmen of Kerivoret , which has been under protection since 1923, and the 3.5 m high, 1.6 m wide and 0.9 m thick menhir about 50 m away are in Porspoder , near Ploudalmézeau in the Finistère department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The chamber is approximately three feet long, less than two feet wide and 1.4 m high. It consists of two large side stones and the end stone. There are other lying stones at the open end that might belong to a corridor. The porphyry granite capstone protrudes considerably over one side of the chamber and is around 4 m in diameter.
Nearby is the Mezou Poulyot dolmen .
