Domenico Giambonini (born November 11, 1868 in Lugano , † August 8, 1956 in Bellinzona ) was a Swiss sports shooter .

successes

Domenico Giambonini took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in two disciplines. In the team competition with the army revolver over 30 m, he placed third behind the United States and Greece together with Joseph Jehle , Hans Egli , Gustave Amoudruz and Fritz Zulauf . With 240 points Giambonini was the team's weakest shooter. He finished the team competition with the army revolver over 50 m in ninth place.

A year later he was runner-up in the team competition in Lyon with the free pistol .
