Fritz Zulauf (born April 19, 1893 , † December 1941 in Zurich ) was a Swiss sports marksman .

Career

Fritz Zulauf took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp . With the army revolver, he finished third in the individual competition over 30 m with 269 points behind Guilherme Parãense , who had scored 274 points, and Raymond Bracken with 272 points. In the individual competition over 50 m he was ninth. In the team competition over 30 m, he won the bronze medal behind the US and Swedish teams together with Gustave Amoudruz , Hans Egli , Domenico Giambonini and Joseph Jehle .

After Fritz Zulauf had taken second place with the team in the competition with the free pistol in Lyon in 1921 , he became world champion with it in Milan the following year . He also won bronze with the army rifle in the team competition. Five times in a row he repeated the title win in the team competition with the Free Pistol: 1927 in Rome , 1928 in Loosduinen , 1929 in Stockholm , 1930 in Antwerp and 1931 in Lwów . In the individual, he secured the bronze medal in 1928 and also became world champion a year later.
