Raymond Cope "Ray" Bracken (born January 8, 1891 in Steubenville , † October 23, 1974 in Columbus ) was an American sports marksman .

Career

Raymond Bracken, a woodcutter by profession , took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp . With the army revolver, he finished second in the individual competition over 30 m with 272 points behind Guilherme Parãense , who had scored 274 points. In the individual competition over 50 m, however, he missed a front placement. In the team competition over 50 m he won the gold medal together with Karl Frederick , Michael Kelly , Alfred Lane and James Snook with a clear lead over the Swedish team.
