Domenico Maria Mezzadri (born January 30, 1867 in San Rocco al Porto , Province of Lodi , Italy ; † December 8, 1936 in Chioggia ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Chioggia from 1920 to 1936 .

Life

Luigi Carlo Borromeo received in the August 11, 1889 Lodi the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope Benedict XV appointed him bishop of Chioggia in 1920 . He was ordained bishop on August 22, 1920 by Pietro Zanolini , Bishop of Lodi, and the co-consecrators Bishop Francesco Ciceri and Archbishop Nicola Marconi .

During his episcopate he celebrated the first diocesan Eucharistic Congress in 1923 and two pastoral visits in 1922 and 1930.

In 1927 he opened the church of San Michele Brondolo for worship and in 1935 he consecrated the small church of the Capuchins in the Chioggia cemetery .

He died unexpectedly on the night of December 8, 1936 and, like his predecessors, was buried in the cathedral of Chioggia.
